PVC and PP

the difference between PP and PVC no matter from the appearance or feel can be significantly different; PP feel is relatively hard and PVC is relatively soft.

PP is a thermoplastic resin prepared by polymerization of propylene. There are three configurations of isochronous, unregulated and interchronous products, and isochronous products are the main components of industrial products. Polypropylene also includes copolymers of propylene and a small amount of ethylene. Usually translucent colorless solid, odorless non-toxic.

Features: non-toxic, tasteless, low density, strength, stiffness, hardness and heat resistance are better than low pressure polyethylene, can be used at 100 degrees or so. Good electrical properties and high frequency insulation are not affected by humidity, but become brittle at low temperature, not wear resistant, easy to age. Suitable for making general mechanical parts, corrosion resistant parts and insulation parts.

PVC is one of the world’s largest production of plastic products, cheap, widely used, polyvinyl chloride resin is white or light yellow powder. Different additives can be added according to different USES, and polyvinyl chloride plastics have different physical and mechanical properties. Adding proper plasticizer in polychloroethylene resin can be made into a variety of hard, soft and transparent products. The density of pure PCC is 1.4g/cm3, and the density of PCC plasticizers and fillers is generally 1.15-2.00g/cm3. Hard POLYchloroethylene has good tensile, flexural, compressive and impact resistance and can be used as structural material alone.
