A friend has what I think is a damaged sandpoint screen and as a result his pump is sucking sand out of the ground. This isn’t that big of deal, normally the well cleans the sand out quickly and stops… but his isn’t. This is the prototype of an idea for a pressurized sand trap that he can place in front of his filter to catch the majority of the sediment and hopefully stop plugging sprinkler heads.
